Career and Technology Education
Our Mission Statement
Career and technology programs are dedicated to preparing young people to manage the dual roles of family member and wage earner. Career and technology programs enable students to gain entry-level employment in a high-skill, high-wage job and/or to continue their education.

Mineral Wells Independent School District offers career and technical education programs in Agriculture, Construction, Arts, Audio/Video Technology, Education and Training, Health Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Law and Public Service, Manufacturing, and Transportation. Admission to these programs is based on interest, aptitude, age appropriateness, and class space available.
It is the policy of Mineral Wells Independent School District not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
