MWHS National Honor Society

Purpose
To be a member of the honor society is a privilege not a right.  It is an opportunity for qualified students to grow and prepare inn the areas of Leadership, Service, Scholarship, and Character to become leaders in the future.

Membership Information
Members are made up of seniors and juniors that have been invited to be members based upon their academics (GPA 3.0 or higher), service, leadership, and character records.  Invitations to join are sent during the spring semester.  All members must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, take part in 3 service projects per semester totaling in 6 for the year, and have one or fewer unexcused meetings to remain a member in good standing.  Dues are $10.  NHS embroidered t-shirts are $16.

Meetings
NHS meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month during school.
