Rotary Four-Way Speech Contest – Monday, March 2 at 6:30 PM for 9th-12th grade

Dear Parents,

We are excited to share information about the upcoming Rotary Four-Way Speech Scholarship Contest, which will take place on Monday, March 2, at 6:30 PM at the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 107 N. Oak, Mineral Wells, TX.
This contest provides students with an opportunity to develop their public speaking skills while exploring ethical leadership and decision-making.

What is the Four-Way Test?

The Rotary Four-Way Test is a guide used by Rotary International to promote honesty, fairness, and positive relationships. It asks four simple but powerful questions:

1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Students create and deliver an original speech that applies these four principles to a topic of their choice.

Students must register by Friday, February 27.

Scholarship Prizes:
1st Place $500 Scholarship
2nd Place $300 Scholarship
3rd Place $100 Scholarship

This is a valuable opportunity for students (9th-12th grade) to build confidence and leadership skills and potentially earn scholarship recognition.
