Calling All Student Artists! Crazy Carnival Street Art at the Crazy Water Festival
The theme is “Crazy Carnival,” and we are looking for student artists who would like to help fill the festival streets with colorful, creative chalk art. There is no cost for students to participate. We simply need artists who are ready to create, have fun, and be part of a great community event.
Student divisions include Grades 4–6, Grades 7–8, and Grades 9–12. The event will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, with check-in at 8:30 a.m. and art beginning at 9:00 a.m. Non-toxic soft pastels will be provided, and all artwork should follow the family-friendly Crazy Carnival theme. If your child enjoys drawing, creating, or just wants to try something new, we would love to have them join us!
Also, if you own a business or know a business that would like to support our students, square sponsorships are available! Sponsors will be recognized alongside the artwork they support. Simply complete the sponsorship form and turn it in. All sponsorship proceeds will go directly to support MWISD Visual Arts Education. This is a great way for our students to showcase their creativity while our community helps support visual arts across MWISD.
